From 2007 until present Robert has been building out MDFs and IDFs for multi million dollar companies across the midwest and has managed hundreds of new construction IT build outs for various project sizes from small retail stores to large shipping distribution centers. Also during this time frame Robert has serviced hundreds of general IT service calls dealing with everything from broadband, to network upgrades, and everything in between dealing with copper cabling, security, fiber optics, and any commercial grade IT equipment maintenance. In between this time, Robert also spent 1 year acting as a Northern Michigan Red Cross IT administrator and has dedicated a small amount of time doing Linux server configurations for a small Indianapolis company.

In 2013 Robert discovered Bitcoin and has spent every free moment dedicating time to advancing his knowledge in the field of cryptocurrency. From March 2013 until April 2014 Robert was a Bitcoin and Altcoin miner building up a mining farm consisting of 34 GPUs and 8 CPUs. Since mining on general computer hardware was no longer profitable for cryptocurrency mining, Robert co-founded FoldingCoin Inc in July 2014 with hopes of helping to redirect a large amount of the mining power that goes into altcoins to be better used towards Stanford's Folding@home project.

Since FoldingCoin was well received in the cryptocurrency community, Robert decided in January of 2015 to go full time in the Counterparty community. Since the beginning of 2015 Robert has taken on the following roles:

    • Director of FoldingCoin Inc
    • Community director for the Counterparty Foundation
    • Host of the LTB podcast: “XCP Weekly Update”
    • Webmaster of

Sure I'll take a look at it. I have some XCP, I might sell those.

Yeah you can usually get a pretty decent rate for XCP there. Unfortunately there is a bit more competition now and the direct BTC/XCP trades are still slow or nonexistent, but I recommend trading XCP for XBTC, which can then be converted to BTC pretty readily and cheaply. Its one of the new features under "Quick Buy."

I wanna sell my XCP for btc or xbtc, but I only have counterparty assets, and no bitcoins so I can't cover the fees. What should I do?

Send som BTC to your counterwallet address so you can push the transactions

@FBSoulMan I will update this on the announcement forum, great job James!

@bitmaster So do you buy foldingcoins on this thread? Sorry was so confused.

I believe @cyrusfx started this thread for that purpose, but it probably will be done in private message on LTB between you and whoever wants to buy them

@procket34 already download FAH and also configure to refer to my wallet address. Is the application should open all the time ? What if I close (sign X) the application ? is the process will stop ?

you can close the control window that displays your settings, this will not stop your folding. If you look in the lower righthand taskbar in your windows task area, you should see the FAH symbol. As long as thats there you should be running. You can right click and pause it in that area as well if you need to stop it. Also when you restart your computer it will automatically start running again

    Thanks ! that's very clear.

I also check in team stats for team 226728 but I can not find my ID in there (I'm using my wallet address as my ID). What is the time difference between the point in FAH application and the team stats in web ?

How long have you been folding for? It can take up to 24 hours for stanford to upload the data to the stats sheet
