  • Magic Words Hiatus?

Hi. I can't help but notice that it seems like the magic words have not been on and LTB network podcasts for a few days, or possibly a couple weeks. I was curious if there was a plan to put this on hold or perhaps stop using them all together? I'm not too concerned either way, but I have found it fun to have a little interaction with my podcasts. Whenever the "magic word" is brought up I get excited like a kid and pull out my phone to type it in right away.

If anyone could comment on this, I'd appreciate it.

Hmmmm..... What's the draw to this over ?

  • Re: How much time you spend online?

I'm not sure how long I spend online. It varies from day to day. I would guess I spend between 2-3 hours on average focusing on various social media and reading articles. I also spend numerous hours documenting online for my day job.

The free time is spent mostly trying to learn about things I am interested in and also promoting ideas I believe in. Perhaps I'm an idealist, but I hope that by posting optimistic comments and sharing ideas, I'm, in a small way helping to make the world a better place. Because, why else do humans even exist?

Wow! All 40 filled! Sweet! Sorry to those who did not get in. But surly there will be more LTBcoin love to spread around in the future.

Sounds exciting. I'll be interested to see how things progress.

It's cool to see such an increase in names on the list this week. Maybe it'll hit 40....and beyond! Well done

A little confused on this, but, please add me to this. Looks cool. @mattbrown

  • Dogeparty and POC

So, I admit I did not do a search so of this topic is already being discussed, sorry, but just curious to get other's thoughts on Dogeparty and what's up with POC (proof of charity). Seems like a brilliant idea, but admittedly could be gamed by bad actors disguised as a real charity. However, I argue this could be avoided by using some sort of a vetting process before funds are sent to a charity, if they do not make the cut, funds could always go to a back-up trusted charity that does good work.

So I guess my question is 2 fold:

    1) what do you all think about Dogeparty as a whole?

    2) who is shitting on POC and what is your rationale?

  • Re: Razor Coin & Next Coin…Dumb it down for me

From my understanding, and to just break it down to a level that anyone could get (ie this is not 100% accurate, but good enough), is that RZR uses the TOR network for all it's transactions. This means that no one can figure out what IP address (which computer or where in the world) transactions come from. There's really not much more special about it than that.

NXT on the other hand is now POS (proof of stake, ie you cannot mine it). It's its own network and has a growing ecosystem of projects and products built ontop of it. It has an anonymous creator and development continues via a team of volunteers. Of all the alts, NXT seems to be the most mysterious to me, and one of the most intriguing. They were the first to implement a decentralized exchange for NXT and anything else that runs on the NXT network (kinda like counterparty with BTC).

    Hope that helps.

Looks super interesting. I'll have to try to hammer something out to post. How far away from crypto are you willing to get?
