  • Re: A tipping tool for content creators

    @heunland

    @mandelduck Hi Im Chris the dev of Sarutobi game I also work with the IndieSquare guys on the TipButton and App

    As cointea1121 mentioned I use the tip button to reward players with SaruTobi coin, holders get extra in game bonuses, so far I often see players tip $10, $5 which is comparative to ad revenue, I really think indieSquares Tip Button idea could be a new source of revenue building on the internet which benefits users and content creators.

    I will be recommending the tip button to a few of my friends with blogs to see how it works for them

    Hi @mandelduck I don´t have any iOS devices so I can´t try your game until you make the android version ;) But meanwhile I just tried out the tip button on @cointea1121 test page to get a sarutobi tip! Can´t wait to get my sarutobi tokens which I am planning to hodl for a while until they become extremely valuable :)

    Thanks! I just sent a bunch of SaruTobi coins out so you should have gotten yours ;-)

  • First mobile game to integrate Counterparty!

    SaruTobi game now rewards SARUTOBI counterparty token holders with in game bonuses!

    Counterparty is a great Bitcoin 2.0 application that allows people to create their own secure tokens on the Blockchain, perfect for use in games and blogs where the content creator can use these tokens to reward followers.

    SaruTobi has recently integrated the counterparty token SARUTOBI coin into the mobile game. Players who donate to the app receive SARUTOBI coin in return, holders of SARUTOBI coin receive extra in game bonuses, items, power ups etc

    This offers players an incentive to donate and content creators an incentive to add new features.

    This token rewarding concept is being spearheaded by IndieSquare Wallet and will soon be open to the public, in the meantime you can check out the IndieSquare Wallet app.

  • Re: We have developed a bitcoin geocaching app called takara

    @heunland Apparently the coinplanter app has not been updated since 2014 and there is no map integrated in the app. There is a map here https://coinplanter.com but does not appear to give any info about any of the caches or hints how to find them. Would be nice to have an android version of Takara cause this coinplanter app seems a bit rudimentary.

    Seems like you have to go the rough area where bitcoin has been planted and walk/click around until you find it, I have emailed the dev to ask about it. We do plan to make an android version however these kind of apps have a lot of trouble with GPS faking and hacking etc, iOS is much more robust against these kind of exploits.

    @framelalife So it's not available yet on the app store. Release date? We have one more test to do, assuming all goes well we will release next week Like our facebook page or follow us on twitter to see when it is released ;-)

    @cherapple @MandelDuck

    Do you know about CoinPlanter?

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinplanter.android No I have not heard of it but thanks for sharing, it seems CoinPlanter is Andoird only which is good because takara is iOS only. Have you used CoinPlanter? It looks like it does not have a map in the app?

  • We have developed a bitcoin geocaching app called takara

    Hi Guys

    I'm Chris from MandelDuck, I created a couple of bitcoin tipping games on iOS called SaruTobi and Game of Birds.

    We have just finished testing a bitcoin geocaching game called "takara" The app lets user drop bitcoin tips anywhere in the world however collectors must visit a location where bitcoin has been dropped to pick it up.

    We plan to launch soon as beta testing has finished.

    You can checkout a demo video of the app here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpGK1JozTio

    Our basic idea is to get people engaged in bitcoin via gaming as it is zero risk and requires no exchange registration, KYC ect

    If you have any questions/criticisms or ideas I would be happy to answer them!
