  • Re: What is Your favorite AltCoin OS of Choice?

Yeah I tried to as well, it does not seem like you can modify polls once posted.

  • Re: More languages?

We have the cast put together for Hablemos Bitcoin! (name subject to change because apparently it's not gramatically correct in spanish) and have done a few pilots, but they are all fairly busy people and it's been difficult to make it happen for real.
Short answer is yes, I would like to move into different languages since there is very little media in those languages, and thus we have an opportunity to be first mover (again)

  • Re: How Does this Work? Let's Talk User Experiance!

Downloadable is just a decision, our audio providers give us unlimited bandwidth.  If you think about it, streaming IS downloading you just don't save it for offline play.

  • Re: Project Needing Developers: Clone of http://helpmewrite.co/ powered by LTBcoin

The problem with this is that the content is already going to be compensated if published so the incentives are already there.

  • Re: How Does this Work? Let's Talk User Experiance!

The question was whether to allow downloads in the smart phone app, but your point is taken.

    haha I just did it

  • Project Needing Developers: Clone of http://helpmewrite.co/ powered by LTBcoin

http://helpmewrite.co/ already does most of what we need. Here's what it should do:Users can propose ideas for people to write about or do a segment about.  If people think the proposal is good, they send LTBcoin to the proposal, the more LTBcoin a proposal has the higher it shows up in the list of ideas (when sorted by that).
That LTBcoin is held in escrow (on the blockchain? is this safe to do on a server?) until somebody makes a piece of content that is published, then part of the reward from the piece being published goes to all the people who funded the bounty for its creation.
The bounty is split between the person who proposed the idea and the platform.
Hopefully you see where I'm going with this.  it's been a long couple of weeks (I'll be taking Tuesday afternoon through Thursday morning away from the computer), so please help define what this should look like and how it should work.   We want the incentives to line up to reward everybody in a way that raises the bar for quality.

  • Re: How Does this Work? Let's Talk User Experiance!

I'm going to post this as a project someone should do tomorrow, if someone wants to beat me to it I'll consider it a favor.

    This looks great, Adam!

Ruben, what do you think about an LTBcoin imbued version of helpmewrite.co where somebody proposes an idea, people send LTBcoin to it and when somebody writes about it in a way that gets published the writer gets the bounty and the idea poster gets a 10% cut or something?

  • Re: How Does this Work? Let's Talk User Experiance!

I think first comes the content network (what we're doing now) then the distribution network (Adam Perlow is working on this), then once you have both you add the app layer on top of that where you can do chat, live p2p broadcasts etc.
Man, I don't even know how to define some of this stuff.
