  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

@junseth You said I was accusing you of things. I wasn't leveling accusations Adam. I was giving my personal opinions. I don't think Tokenly is stupid at all.

    • You're no longer saying that I'm actually censoring you (but you did talk to somebody who told you we have standards and you decided not to talk to me)

Nope, this wasn't anything I ever said. I said that you censor shows. You did the rest of the extrapolation. We have plenty of conversation between us and David R. Allen where he was trying to get us to join the network and our condition was that we would only even consider it if we weren't censored.

This actually (i'm pretty sure) proves my point, not yours. David R Allen never told me that he was approaching you or talked to me about it. He must have thought you'd be a good fit or he wouldn't have done it. You were also probably told up front that one of our hard requirements is that anything that would make the content go into the adult category on iTunes can't go on the network because the feed itself is marked and marketed as family friendly. Is this what you mean by you refused to be censored? Once again, is Dave Allen doing that independently the same thing as me doing it to you? Does it matter if I wasn't even aware of what you're talking about or is it still all just me being evil?

    • You're no longer saying that I got you kicked off of the XCP show (but you say I must have had something to do with it because Robert has LTBCOIN)

I believe very strongly you had something to do with that. And, yes, Robert is the one who mentioned your generous donation.

Does your belief have any grounding? Do you consider $250 equivilent for 6+ months worth of shows "generous"? Or are we purely talking in numerical terms. If I give you a thousand pennies, am I being generous because there are a thousand units?

    • You're no longer saying that I "am trying to take counterparty in a stupid direction" but you think my opinions about Bitcoin are stupid, which means you think anything i'm doing (like Tokenly) is stupid. Right?

Again, this is your own extrapolation. I never said any of that except that you want to control the direction of counterparty and I find the direction you want to take it in to be stupid.

The thing I wanted when I used to engage with you was for the Counterparty Chit Chat, which was suggested as a place for new users to get questions answered, to not be a hostile snakepit where anybody with a project that you didn't fully believe in got treated like a criminal, insulted and dismissed out of hand. What you think is stupid, I think is the correct approach. You had the most time to argue so I gave up and devoted my efforts elsewhere.

I'm glad to hear you don't think Tokenly is stupid, I think that might be the first thing we've agreed on.

Adam, as far as extrapolation, you can do whatever you want. I hope that clarifies things for you!

If you didn't dance around your lack of facts I wouldn't have to extrapolate. Please respond to the challenge issued instead of only engaging where you don't feel outmatched.

  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

Thanks for correcting my misperceptions, sorry for distracting you from the challenge you face. You've got about 22 hours left.

    @adam

@adam Just to make sure you didn't miss it, I've challenged you to show you're not just flat out lying. You've got a lot of words, if you haven't made it up you'll be able to find a single instance in my very public last two and a half years where what you say is happening all the time, has actually happened. This will be difficult of course because you're just lying and so can't back it up, but hey maybe i'm wrong and you've got some evidence to support your accusations

    @junseth

a - You cannot find a single podcaster who we have worked with now or in the past who we've ever asked to make content changes unless it was a) about bad language because of the iTunes "All Ages" rating or b) that was a podcast not actually about cryptocurrency and thus not suitable for publishing. You've represented multiple times that specifically I am doing this but lets broaden it out and just say all of the LTBN. Can you find a single instance where your thesis matches reality?

b - You cannot show a single instance of me censoring you, or anybody else for that matter. I'd suggest you start with the source @pooktwo who, although I have not discussed this challenge with him, I'm sure will answer any questions you have on the topic. You're welcome to look anywhere else you'd like. Can you find a single instance where your thesis matches reality?

Since we both know you'll never admit your wrong, i'll just set the deadline for 24 hours from now. You can admit you're wrong, or present evidence that supports your arguements. You can post your evidence here in the forum and let anyone who is interested see and judge for themselves. If you prove me wrong, I'll appologize to you. If this challenge proves you wrong, we'll both just know you were unable to back up your accusations and that people will pay even less attention to you than they do now.

Good luck, let me know if you need anybody's emails.

You said that you can't do "b" because you can't prove a negative.

That might be true, but if I am what you say I am, it should be easy to find someone who has had an experience with me that supports your view. Or is it really really difficult for some reason, maybe because what you're saying is baloney?

Tick tock. What have you got besides the rewards program and that LTBN doesn't allow open public posting to the front page?

  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

@junseth In light of the question, however, and my recollection of Robert's claim, it would seem to me that there should be at least a little bit of suspicion around how this address, which is listed as a tip receiving address on Robert's page would have ended up with nearly 5.5 million LTBCOIN http://i.imgur.com/1iX31SP.png or 1.4% of LTB supply. It appears rich in ADAMBUCKS! http://i.imgur.com/txJ8eiO.png

Because it's the address Robert recieves his LTBCOIN rewards to. Each user defines where they want their reward sent by making an address their "Primary" address.

So your smoking gun here is that Robert has been earning rewards for doing the show the same as every other podcaster (including myself) for more than six months? To put 5 million LTBCOIN in perspective, its current value (assuming you could find a buyer at a stable price) is worth about $250 right now.

    You've got nothing else?

  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

So just to be clear Joshua, now the only thing you actually are accusing me of is having paid Robert LTBCOIN around the time he started doing the XCP show.

You're no longer saying that I'm actually censoring you (but you did talk to somebody who told you we have standards and you decided not to talk to me)

You're no longer saying that I got you kicked off of the XCP show (but you say I must have had something to do with it because Robert has LTBCOIN)

What actually are you accusing me of, because you should read this thread again - there has been quite a lot of badmouthing about me and now we're down to just this.

  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

@junseth @Adam, anyone who has watched you and your lackeys in the chit chat will be pretty much on the up and up on your behavior. There isn't an accusation here. Just telling you what I have personally experienced and seen from you. The only accusation that has been made is that you paid a lot of LTBCOIN to Robert. I don't know that to be the case other than that that is what Robert said. So I'm happy to let him weigh in. He, I'm sure can clarify for everyone whether that was a lie he told, or whether you are lying right now.

Who are my lackeys and what are you talking about?

How much is "A lot" of LTBCOIN? I'm the largest holder having created the most content on the LTB network and my holdings amount to a few thousand dollars worth in market cap but in reality selling would further crush the price. I've never viewed LTBCOIN as "money", it's just a rewards token we're building systems to support that will eventually (Marketplace coming soon!) start to work. RIght now its just a placeholder until the sinks are in the system to support the faucets we've had so far.

Let's assume we've given Robert at least 5 MILLION LTBCOIN (looking at his address, he's got more than that on there) - What would that prove and why would it matter? LTBCOIN isn't very valuable but we do give it out to people who help the community, contribute to the open source project, create content, etc. Why does that matter and what does it prove?

  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

@junseth It's probably a good time for @pooktwo to answer here since he is the one that divulged that he was given a large amount of LTBCOIN early on.

While we're waiting can you respond to the other points?

I'm trying to understand if you have any actual complaints that need to be addressed but you're just dropping any topic I respond to.

  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

Oh I forgot, we also have quality standards. We require that a show either a) not require editing because the talent is good enough to meet our standards unedited or b) that it be edited to meet those minimum quality standards. There are a few shows we've declined because they wern't at no-edit quality and didn't want to start editing. Again, this isn't a judgement of the value of a show it's just the application of our curational standards. It seems like in your mind this is the same thing as censorship, can you confirm that you view up front platform standards as the same as any other kind of censorship?

  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

Just to be perfectly clear, we'd actually be breaking the LTBCOIN social contract if we WERE NOT including robert in the rewards program when he wants to be.

We said we'd follow that five year schedule and we've done exactly that. We don't play favorites or pick winners, the audience for each show decides how much that show should get by demonstrating that they actually consumed the content (for which they are also rewarded by the program).

So once again, is this all you've got to back up your accusations?

  • Re: Missing the Junseth and Chris DeRose Chit Chat recap on the XCP Community Update show?

@junseth How many LTBCoin did you give Robert in exchange for running his show on your network Adam?

If you're talking about the rewards program, it's automated and scales each week depending on how well your show does.

You're welcome to look at his address on the blockchain

    http://blockscan.com/address?q=18Emgn5f5Y6u2DEqWpcRGAxdP6veDvYtjb

Here are the stats for the system

    https://letstalkbitcoin.com/ltbcoin-stats

Here's the five year distribution schedule broken down into weekly creation, with which part of the community gets it.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GzytNblMx8xBmUczX7sPC8QitkJrrRirNrh2AJtjy1Q/edit?usp=sharing

So just to be clear, when you say

@junseth How many LTBCoin did you give Robert in exchange for running his show on your network Adam?

What you mean is "how much LTBCOIN has Robert earned through the LTBCOIN rewards program?".

    Was there anything else?
