  • Re: LTBCOIN for the Audience!

@louie2001912 I watch the show every chance I get. AM I hearing right I may even be paid to listen now!? Well I assume if I contribute of course.

Every saturday we reward registered users who use the site and forum. Soon you will be able to be rewarded just by listening and checking in to confirm you listened, but that's not implemented yet so for now make sure you visit the page of the show you listen to - we can't see when you download through the podcast feed, and thus can't yet reward you.

@louie2001912 I just put my CP wallet in my profile. Do you know if I still get the first week of CP giveaway coins? I have multiple posts just not CP wallet posted yet.

You won't get first week stuff, but we are still doing the initial forum distribution - Still 6 million coins being given away this way, some each week for the rest of the month.

In the event of a tied amount it is earlier, but the bidding officially is over at the end of 5:00 so you got in on the last timestamp and exceeded the amount.

Previously when you did same minute you tied the amount, that's the difference. and @Brawker are 126 Sponsors - This is your first full buyout with your brokerage? :)

Brian do you mind my asking how you're negotiating these? Do you have a fixed exchange rate negotiated and they're bidding specific dollars amounts, or are you just throwing numbers?

  • Re: What skills do you have? What type of team are you looking for?

    @matt @adam

I think this type of stuff needs to be incorporated into users profiles and provide a way to easily search for users with particular skills.

    Yuuuuuup :)

  • Re: User ratings/rankings/stats

and there will also be leaderboards both for total holdings and weekly/lifetime LTBCOIN rewards

  • Re: The forum has changed for the better because of LTBcoin

@pthed You know Adam, when you said on the show about how some guys created a bunch of "sockpuppet accounts" and talked to themselves to help promote their own thing. All your activity on the forum definity is ringing a bell with me on that one. Good on ya' mate. You have succeeded in sucking in at least one peripherally interested listener to the show into the heavier involvement sphere!

I'm a catalyst, the beginning is where I shine the most. Over time I will be less and less important, but in the beginning if I'm not a productive whirlwind simply nothing will happen.

That said, sock-puppets are different. That is the illusion of activity. I am not talking to myself, I really only have one account (besides adamtest to check lower permission views) and frankly with as much time as i spend on it, I couldn't do much more if I wanted :) The most important thing I'm doing here is demonstrating that I'm a good person doing this stuff for the right reasons, because it attracts people who agree with that way of thinking and will help me built our culture around it.

BTW, since I know you are working so hard at this I hope you end up making some decent dosh over the years. I actually hope you don't make it to Rupert Murdoch size, but a net worth north of $1,000,000 2014 United States Dollars in less than seven years time is definitely in alignment with my sentiments.

I wish you success as well in your endeavors.

  • Re: Suggest a Topic or Guest! Your suggestion picked? You get a 1000LTBC tip!

@ggerrein For example, some scholar who is specialized in Nozick or Rawls form of economic justice would make for an interesting discussion I believe.

I don't even know what either of those things are, can you ELI5?

  • Re: SWARM.XCP - Swarm Coin.

@lainfinity @adam Regarding Swarm If I want to crowd fund I can create an asset token in counterparty and promote the asset for funding like Tatianacoin.

Then what is the objective of Swarm coin, how does it differentiate from counterparty.

Swarm, like, is a front-end that adds features on top of the ones already provided by Counterparty. You don't have to use either, you can just use Counterparty and promote the project yourself.

The point of something like swarm is that whenever a project hits that platform, everybody knows if it succeeds they get some of it (relative to their swarm tokens), and so they have a vested interest from minute one in helping it succeed.

Thus the theory goes, the swarm will propel worthwhile projects to success more than doing it alone because you get the entire swarm community instead of having to start from scratch.

That said, I've eliminated my involvement with the project and cannot recommend it after some recent experiances with the team leadership. The model could just as easily be done by anybody else, and in an environment where the best community wins I'm not confident swarm will be it.

The catalysts of projects like this have an undue amount of impact on the cultures they create, so founders really matter when I look at a project.
