  • Re: what do u think about expanding into non-english speaking world?

@thunderlei I have been enjoying all episodes LTB talks delivered for a while. Unlike coindesk or other text content provider, audio content is not easy to be interpreted into non-English speaking world. Despite this difficulty,I want to rise this question here to open for innovated thought to tackle.

Look forward to the community to think forward

I've been attempting to find the right conditions for "Hablemos Bitcoin!" which would be the spanish language version. Different cast, original content on each. I also want to do LTB Mandarin.

We have been approached by 8BTC about some kind of content partnership, I'm very open to this sort of development.

  • Re: 2.25 million LTBC going out to folks with more than 5 forum posts (and an address on file) imminently - thanks for playing! next distribution tomorrow

@mich Does this mean we have to have created 5 posts during each week in order to qualify? Or just have an active account that has 5 posts?

I imagine 5 per week makes more sense since it involves more activity and it's less incentive to create a ton of random accounts, but if that's the case it would be good for there to be a notification when 5 has been reached just so people don't have to worry about not having kept count.

This is a limited time thing, we'll be rewarding everyone with cumulatively more than 5 posts, so if you have more than five posts already you're good for all the remaining ones.

Right now the notification system does not have a way to filter out people who are already qualified, but it would be a good tool to have.

  • Re: Donate BTC to support the LTBCOIN Distribution Fees!

@belltown Counterparty transaction costs are high, I believe around 0.3 mBTC/transaction. So you might pay more in transaction fees then the dust is worth.

Okay, dust part removed. People can donate real amounts :) I think i'm spending like .06BTC between the distributions on saturday (there are two totalling probably 800 transactions)

  • [AUCTION] [Adam B. Levine] [Weekly End Date Sunday Noon Pacific] Hour Long Consultation via Skype (High Bid 6500)

This is the auction thread for this project

    http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/auction-for-1-hour-of-adam-b-levines-time

Now accepting all bids. The winners will receive a token that they will then redeem (send to me) at the beginning of our Skype conversation.

The token is transferable, and I will speak to anyone who presents it. If the person is not technically savvy, it's OK if a third party handles the token transfer, but ideally we are proving a point here.

Bids are only accepted in LTBc

@adam Hey everybody, I actually spend more of my time talking to people about their projects than I do working on the show these days. It gives me "the view from the high ground", which is to say an awareness of the ecosystem. I have seen many things tried and although I can't talk specific about many, I can answer whatever questions you might have as applies to your own project.

I'm happy to answer any question publicly in this thread as time allows, I'll be auctioning two, hour long private consultation sessions per week to the highest bidder in LTBc.

You can find the auction thread here

The session takes the form of a skype call (audio only) and I can provide you with an interview quality recording at the end if you desire. We can talk about whatever you want, I am most useful in obvious areas but also have an eclectic background so I'm game to talk about whatever. Please be on skype five minutes early, my schedule is pretty tight.

But if you've got questions you're comfortable asking in public, here's your chance to get some free advice (although I do accept LTBc tips)

So tell me, what do YOU want to do with a token?

  • Ask Adam B. Levine about User Created Assets or your Project in the Bitcoin Space - Mind to Matter Crypto-Consulting Services

  • Re: [LTB][HIRING 100k LTBC per month] TWITTER LIASON Manage the Let's Talk Bitcoin! Twitter Account!

@bitcoindaddy I like your style and your thinking. . . delegate and keep it going.

By 'create' I assume you are expecting the 'at will employee' to create a new bitcoin account with LBTsomethng? Or . . Create (if you don't already have a twitter account) and curate . . . either way . . . I'm in.

You can call the feed whatever you want, I just want to see you in action before handing over the keys of the family sedan. Act as if you're representing us. That means be "Be that guy", not say "I'm lets talk bitcoin!" but rather be helpful, informative, and engaging. Me at my best ;)

  • Donate BTC to support the LTBCOIN Distribution Fees!

It costs quite a bit of BTC to send out LTBc every week (.03btc for this weeks distribution), if you'd like to donate BTC to offset this cost and create an ongoing fund you can send it to the issuing address for LTBcoin

You can view the assets page here to verify the address

    http://blockscan.com/assetInfo.aspx?q=LTBCOIN

    This is the current address

    @bcohen @adam

30 seconds would work for me for this particular advert...but perhaps this doesn't make any sense for this venue? I did get in touch with Heritage auctions (same folks who are auctioning Bitcoins.com) and they said they would be interested...but next auction is this fall. Guess i'll wait. :)

I have no problem simply using less time, I just want to make sure you're getting your LTBc worth. So long as you're cool with it, that's fine with me.

Given it's a domain, what exactly would you like me to do to fill the time? It's approved but I doubt i'll have 45 seconds worth of meaningful things to say about the domain that isn't a flat endorsement of someone buying it, which I don't feel comfortable doing.

  • Re: LTBCOIN for the Audience!

@louie2001912 I watch the show every chance I get. AM I hearing right I may even be paid to listen now!? Well I assume if I contribute of course.

    Yes!

Every saturday we reward registered users who use the LetsTalkBitcoin.com site and forum. Soon you will be able to be rewarded just by listening and checking in to confirm you listened, but that's not implemented yet so for now make sure you visit the page of the show you listen to - we can't see when you download through the podcast feed, and thus can't yet reward you.
