  • Re: LTBCoin Rich List

    @segaboy81 Hi! I was browsing through the LTBCoin rich list this morning. I'm curious why the wallet at the top has 82% share in total funds distributed?

    I believe the majority of those addresses are controlled by me, and the rest by people creating content for LTB. Much of the initial disbursement is still being spread out (I'm trying to do another round of people we owe today)

    Also there are things like the C*O level vesting pool, the total about 8 million that the LTB corporation has for the money we spent plus the portion I earned from content creation, we just finished distributing the 10 million for the forums fund, have 7 million in partner funds sitting there. etc etc etc

    Basically LTBc is our ammunition, we have a lot of it. Some is being used now, more will be used faster as new technology comes online.

  • Re: [AUCTION] [Adam B. Levine] [Weekly End Date Sunday Noon Pacific] Hour Long Consultation via Skype (High Bid 6500)

    @william

    @rob @Adam, I feel like this thread is very confusing, and not being managed like the other LTB auctions are. Your signature on every post links here, which makes me think this is still an active weekly auction. If that's the case, the auction ends today at noon pacific time, and the current two highest bids are 15,000 LTBc by @dsmalone and 10,000 by @Zero4ce (note that both bidders expressed being unclear if the auction is going on as they posted their bids). Are two separate hours still being auctioned every week?

    To make it confusing, your initial post references only early bids in the first auction, and the name of this page indicates it's filed under "Completed Auctions." I've seen you post in this thread, but you haven't addressed questions @william and I had about auctions we won, and you haven't made it clear if this auction is live or not.

    Assuming you are still auctioning off your time, I think you need a manager to handle this auction. I think it's really unclear what is going on, and as a winner of the first auction, I feel like the terms have changed a few times, and I'm not really sure if there's urgency to me using the hour of your time (at one point I was excited that you said a token was mentioned as being issued to the winner, but that post seems to have been deleted).

    I paid adam 11,500 for the hour I won last week. I emailed Krystal to ask about getting a token to redeem instead of scheduling the hour now, as I have no immediate need of consulting--but expect that I will have some in the future. Maybe technical questions about a future article, for example. I haven't heard back yet about the token possibility, but I understand Adam might not want to do this, since his schedule is pretty packed and he doesn't want to accumulate owed hours... I know that automated bidding is in the works, which should really smooth out the bidding.

    Actually i'm just slammed, when I get time I need to create a new token and send it out to people who won hours but dont want to yet redeem the time. I didnt really think about that.

    Whats going to happen is I'll have two hours for sale per week and two hour long slots per week. The slots will be first come first serve at least for a while.

    This is still active but I need to find a manager

  • Re: LTBcoin stats page

    @william Nice stats page. A question on PoV... This is for authors, right? I see that comments on articles count as 4 and page views count as 1. Is this paid only once, or are additions to these numbers calculated every week, even for old articles?

    PoV is the second half of the content allocation - It is reckoned and rewarded exactly four weeks after the start of the week it published, and everything published within that week is compared by performance.

    Thats pageviews (1 each) comments (+4 each) and then podcasts recieve a 4x multiplier on the pageviews since the majority of users consume podcasts without ever visiting its particular content page. In the future the comparative listening metrics will be magic words and sponsor revenue in LTBc

  • Re: Wont the giving away of coins cause a downwards pattern in coin value?

    @therealtwig

    @armin22 I have been wondering that if you are giving away coins for free like this, then won't all the selling cause a downwards slope in the coins value from all the dumping?

    (Also my counterwallet message wont get signed.)

    Others can correct me if I am wrong, but as a holder of LTBc, I feel as though I am actually de-incentivized to sell right now. To see more value out of this token, I am more than incentivized to hold and do as much as I can to help create value to the network to see the value of this token go up. Which I am happy to do anyways, but it is always nice to see value occur out of thin air for things I am already happy to do.

    Selling now would only be a representation of its current early stage value, which in theory can only go up due to positive actions I (and many others) take to propagate the LTB network.

    Your incentive is to sell if your intention is to maximize your Bitcoin earnings ASAP. Only people who have the luxury of time can afford to invest it without needing immediate returns.

    You're not buying them, so the price doesn't really matter. If you want to use them, it's about how many you have compared to other people who want the same thing (since we use auctions)

    In time the price will stabilize, but for the first few months there is quite a bit of inflation so we don't pay attention to the price at all, just to how much and how many people want it.

  • Re: When to buy LTBcoin?

    @pinheadmz What is this "last week for 5 posts bonus" specification?

    at the beginning of the process we allocated a big chunk to the forums, and then right before we launched we switched forums and many of the 500+ people who had registered were now not registered when they previously thought they were all set to recieve their stake.

    Because of that, we split the almost 10 million into four weekly chunks, today we gave out the last one.

  • Re: OH HAI, DID YOU RECEIVE 3 EXTRA LTBCOIN DISBURSEMENTS?

    @c0d3m4st4 cool :)

    where did that 0.0000125 BTC come from then ? I didn't expect that at all :)

    Your LTBcoin is delivered on that little bit of BTC, so each time you recieve LTB you will also recieve a little BTC

  • Re: OH HAI, DID YOU RECEIVE 3 EXTRA LTBCOIN DISBURSEMENTS?

    @c0d3m4st4 i actually just received one LTBC distribution, and 0.0000125 BTC

    is that correct ?

    one of the big ones is still going out
