  • Re: LTBCoin Rich List

    @jamesmm Can I put Andreas as my referral? Really he's how I know of LTB, :) It was that dinner video, I could praise him or curse him :) IDK which it should be...

    Yeah you can put whomever you want - his username is "andreas"

    on the subject of my generosity, is a voice server helpful? We have a 20 man voice chat server that can do high quality recordings in case you want to do any meetings, wrap ups or drafts with personal element.

    Also, is there going to be a fixed exchange rate between the coin @loon3 is creating for this against LTBc? I'd love a 1:1 peg with a vending machine so non-players can participate.

  • Re: Dogeparty AMA (Ask Me Anything) at Reddit

    @shopnhowler Two things I'm curious of are:

    • The usability of dogeparty's tools that come from the hackathon and other development. To me, it's not clear how anybody can start building what comes from their imagination, but the clearer and more accessible it is the more I'd be willing to participate and contribute (using dogeparty and/or to the POB).
    • On a related note, how can something like the truthcoin be built from the dogeparty protocol? I can see how people could bet on the future they believe will materialize, but how will the algorithms, like SVD, that Paul references and truthcoin requires be implementable here?

    *edit: capitalization

    Something like truthcoin really can't be built on counterparty or dogeparty.

    Dogepartys tools are not being built at a hackathon, that was just an idea because that guy puts on hackathons. our team (http://dogeparty.io) is converting everything needed from http://counterparty.co and http://counterwallet.co, so those are the starting tools. Anything you can do with counterparty you'll be able to do faster cheaper and probably less securely with dogeparty.

  • Re: [AUCTION] [Adam B. Levine] [Weekly End Date Sunday Noon Pacific] Hour Long Consultation via Skype (High Bid 6500)

    @deweller I also bid 16,000 LTBc.

    Please repost over here i'm locking this thread

    @rob http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/auction-for-1-hour-of-adam-b-levines-time

  • Re: [AUCTION] [Adam B. Levine] [Weekly End Date Sunday Noon Pacific] Hour Long Consultation via Skype (High Bid 6500)

    @rob

    @adam Actually i'm just slammed, when I get time I need to create a new token and send it out to people who won hours but dont want to yet redeem the time. I didnt really think about that.

    Whats going to happen is I'll have two hours for sale per week and two hour long slots per week. The slots will be first come first serve at least for a while.

    Great, that sounds like a good setup, thanks for clarifying. I'd love to manage this auction in a fresh thread in the future. But for now, I'll bid 20,000. At the going rate of LTBc, that is still an amazing value for an hour of your time.

    Please, have-at!

  • Re: LTBc Fantasy Football

    Hey @loon3 @therealtwig, i'll kick in 50k for an additional prize if you can come up with a creative way to use it.

  • Re: LTBCoin Rich List

    You'll see some big movement today, I just awarded contributors to the show for episodes 126-129 plus Andreas finally has his address on file so I was able to send him the LTBc he was owed for last year (over a million)

  • Re: LTBcoin stats page

    @bcohen @adam

    "and then podcasts recieve a 4x multiplier on the pageviews since the majority of users consume podcasts without ever visiting its particular content page."

    That's sensible.

    However, Podcasters do receive substantially more POQ than writers though.

    I think (?) its now safe to assume that writers are driving traffic to Podcasts whereas prior to the launch of LTBcoin I assume (?) it used to be primarily the opposite... that Podcasts would drive traffic to the blog...

    just sayin' ;)

    I'm very aware of the issue Brian and I'm open to suggestions on how we address this.

    It very much is, I'm charging .3btc per hour for private consults.

  • Re: LTBCoin Rich List

    @cryptonaut going to take a wild guess and say that is probably the main token issuing account

    No, this is the Partner Funds LTBc wallet from the initial distribution. We don't yet have a purpose for it, but i've been thinking we'd have a bounty for internet radio stations where we pay them a fixed amount of LTBc per month to run our content for their audiences.

    Point is, it has a purpose but is not yet active. We could have just not created it, but the schedule said it was to be created during the initial distribution.

    Some of the content creators are probably getting big accounts too since they're pumping out content getting paid hundreds of thousands and not doing anything with it yet.
