@ltbcoin Just double-checking: a counterwallet address can be used for both LTBCoin and BTC ? TIA

yes, it is just a bitcoin address. If you really wanted to, you could use any old BTC address from any wallet. It would still be able to hold LTBcoin or other counterparty assets, you just wouldnt be able to see it in that wallet unless they supported it. It would just look like a small amount of BTC that you can't send (I believe how its encoded locks it from being spent unless using counterparty protocol). You can actually add "watch only" addresses in counterwallet, which lets you see the assets of any address from any wallet.

I know Adam has done some Google Hangouts which had some levels of success. I think I will have one tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM PST and explore a number of topics.

Let me know if anyone here would like an invite.

    email me david.r.allen@thejopyofbitcoin.com

I plan on talking about some of the Bitcoin Foundation's goals as well.

Keep in mind that if you want to use your Counterwallet to buy XCP or any other asset, such as LTBCoin, you must obviously first set up a Counterwallet, where you will see 3 addresses; then Send BTC to one of those addresses. Then, in the "Exchange / Buy & Sell" section, you will have to click BUY on XCP (or LTBCoin!) AND SELL BTC From the same address you just deposited the BTC into.

In other words, each transaction on Counterwallet is actually 2 transactions! A Buy AND a Sell in the same transaction. You decide what assets you are buying, and which you are selling. I guess that would be the very definition of trading!

And, Oh, I almost forgot! You will need to leave your Counterwallet open for possibly up to an hour for the transactions to clear!

THANK YOU, 'Let's Talk Bitcoin!' for being on the cutting edge, for showing us the way; and MANY THANKS for sending me, personally, some LTBCoin! My imagination is still working overtime for how I want to incorporate the Counterparty protocol into my own parenting & homeschooling plans, and I am SURE the LTBCoin you sent me will be put to good use in this regard!

    BLESSED BE!

I asked in the other thread, can I just use a BTC address which I own?

In counterwallet I did not find any send option.

EDIT: Found it right on the BTC or XCP tab. So you can send from each address individually only and not combined?
