@optictopic I thought I would post that for first time exchange users. Being new to this myself I was a bit confused by the UI they provided for the ICO.

Yeah, I do not understand how the purple (sells in BTC) and green (buys in Craig) circles work.

I agree with the post above that waiting to see if the ICO is overvalued by the end of the sale is a good idea but I jumped in the game early anyway.

Now that I think of it, you might say something of the opposite. If 1000BTC is put into Craigscoin then 1 satoshi would be traded for 3 Criagscoin. Imo, ppl tend not to look at altcoins that start with a value of +1000 satoshi. Craigscoin would be seen as a 'cheap' alternative to many altoins.

At the very least though, the coin will come under more and more scrutiny over the next 8 days. The investment value will be the same, you might just have better info closer to the end of the ICO. They should have prorated buys like Ethereum did. Ethereum really should have done what Craigscoin did and put a marketcap on the coin.

@eshriek Not having a marketcap seems no different than a fractional reserve system doesn't it. The scarcity of a coin or asset is its greatest feature. 30,000,000 CraigCoins with a market cap of 1,000 BTC would mean that 3 CraigCoins would be equal to 9999 satoshis according to my calculations.

    Yeah, that's me on both accounts i guess. 3333 (1 satoshi) * 30 000 000 (total Craigs)/ 100 000 000 (1 bitcoin worth of satoshi's) = 999.9 So if the marketcap ends up being 1000 BTC each Craig will be 3333 sat.

ICO closed about 20 hours ago and it appears that if all 30mil Craigcoin were distributed then around 430 BTC was raised because 1 BTC is roughly equal to 68,000 Craigcoin or 1 Craigcoin is 1444 satoshis. Live trading will begin in a couple of days on Bittrex.

Not long after the craigscoin went on to the bittrex exchange the value to a great dive. The drop was nearly 10x. I thought that it might have been due to some of the bad news concerning possible draconian crypto legislation coming down the pipes in Russia. Craigscoin founder Pavel is based out of Moscow and is from what I can tell still working on developing this tech ( http://bitcoinprbuzz.com/cryptocurrency-craigscoin-features-classified-ad-listings-in-blockchain/ ) So I will hold and see what happens. I hope craigscoin decides to upload their blockchain to the MAIDSAFE network in the public beta. That would be a brilliant move.
