@Cryptonaut: Could you give us an idea of the recent payouts? Frequency and amounts?

Do you guys recommend creating a new address for each asset with in the Counterparty Wallet? Can you move BTC between addresses without fees?

See here: http://earnfreebitcoins.com/xcp#dividends payouts are made every saturday.

If you want more privacy, unique address could be useful. There are fees for moving between addresses though (needs to be encoded on the blockchain), so its not like your normal wallet

@Cryptonaut: Sorry, I see the link now in your first post. This is such a cool idea and a great domain name!

I'm just curious myself, where do you see this in three years? Is managing the site and asset/shares very time consuming? Or do you have it all kind of automated?

I also don't have much knowledge on Counterwallet, but very intrigued. Do you see it sticking around for 3 more years?

Well, its been going strong for over a year and a half already, no plans on shutting it down as long as im around and bitcoin is still around. Definitely a good domain name, thats why I got it :p I basically just saw bitvisitor one day back in 2012 and was like "hmm this site looks pretty popular and it looks pretty easy to build"... thought of the domain, saw it was available.. 2 or 3 weeks later and the first version of EFB launched.

Managing the site is pretty simple, its just a couple minutes per day checking for new links to confirm payment and approve. For the asset, I just add my total income (click/banner ad revenue and sponsored visit revenue) each saturday for that week and send it off as dividends with counterwallet. Requires a little bit of money moving around and waiting on block confirmations though. Im planning on making this automated, so all site revenue goes into a single pool which sends out to shareholders automatically every week or once it reaches a certian threshold.

Counterwallet isnt much of a concern either because they do not actually hold any funds and I have the private keys + main pass phrase for all my stuff on it. Its open source so if they shut down, a replacement could be put up very fast, or I could even set up my own local copy. Or I could take those private keys and import it into some other wallet

Not sure if it's just me, tried 2 different browsers, but when I go to the home page, it's just empty. Same with the stats page. Pretty much all the others worked fine.

@cryptonaut I am planning to get some but when I send BTC from my wallet it deducts .0001 as Tx fees by default. I can't configure but I have noticed .000036 as Tx for LTBcoins.

Is there anyway I can configure that amount as Tx fees?

@lainfinity there isnt really a way to configure fees in counterwallet AFAIK, you would have to run your own command line counterparty server.. alternatively you could just send to the payment address using a normal bitcoin wallet, and then just email me letting me know what address you want me to actually send the tokens back to
