Anyone know if a crypto-currencies data base (price, cap, hash on blockchain, etc.) already exist?! or maybe how to create it

Hi every body, this post it's a open question.

I am doing research on crypto-currencies topics and need data for this. We can find a lot of data on the web through exchange, blockexplorer.... and coinmarketcap is already a good tool. But the raw data can't be collected easily (in order to make libre office tab and graph). Then, Api already exists to extract data.

Does anyone know if a crypto-currencies data-base like coinmarket cap (with more data) with an open access which allow download in tabs exists? or does anyone have any idea how to create it (an easy way for a non-dev person...)

Thanks for all.

I know that there are a number of APIs that expose this data - although only fragments of it at a time e.g. Poloniex's API (and that could be used to programmatically cache the data / create a database locally - through lots of requests ).

If you don't know how to write a program to interact with an API; to get at this data then I would recommend spending a bit of time learning some basic development skills (it's not rocket science and it will pay dividends in the long run).

I don't know of anywhere that will just let you take a huge dump of this type of data - I'm sure that it would be quite useful for many people, but its much easier (and more scalable) for sites to only offer access to small chunks of specific data at a time.

thank for your answer. Yes i think that this kind of data base will be usefull and is a necessary tool for a better understanding of the crypto-currencies environment. I will try - and find help - for working with API, we will see... bye
