Tatiana & Josh are joined first by Matt McKibbin who recounts his history with Tatiana as supporters of the Ron Paul campaign and how it eventually led to their interest in cryptocurrency, while Josh reflects on observing Paul’s campaign while living in his native Australia. Josh & Tatiana compare (but mostly contrast) Paul’s campaign with that of Bernie Sanders. Matt shares his interest in decentralization and explains how he brought crypto with his group to Burning Man, and his desire to help the expansion of blockchain businesses and technology, such as the decentralized internet app service ThreeFold. Matt talks about his interest in The Singularity and how data security & decentralization will be essential as mankind moves toward a cybernetically-enhanced future and thought-powered devices.

Next, they discuss microdosing and the use of psychedelics as a way of “upgrading the human OS,” and why most CBD products aren’t high enough quality to be effective. Matt gives his predictions on how The Halving/Halvening will affect the dollar valuation of Bitcoin and what might mute the expected price bounce. Josh explains that most people don’t understand exponential growth, and compares mathematically the expansion of US debt to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Finally, Matt talks about his time as part of the d10e conference management team and expresses hope there will be more of those branded events soon.

Tatiana is joined by Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin for the second half of the episode to talk about SoHoMuse, a blockchain-backed promotion & connection network for artists. Consuelo shares her history as a performer, having been signed to a major UK label and what inspired her to create SoHoMuse. She gives some information about how SohoMuse works, how it’s organized, and why they chose to go invite-only. Consuelo then discusses why she believes blockchain technology can help artists and content creators keep better control of their intellectual property. Virtual reality & 3D technology are discussed, and how remote entertainment can be an important tool to help bring revenue to artists. She also talks about how blockchain can help modernize music licensing.

Tatiana will be performing live for a Soho Muse event on May 20th, at 7:00 p.m. eastern.  Don’t miss it!
