The Bitcoin Game #5 - L.A. Bitcoin Meetup with Brock Pierce & Micah Winkelspecht

Published on November 23rd, 2014 by Rob

Welcome to episode five of The Bitcoin Game. I'm your host, Rob Mitchell. In this episode I present an uncut "fireside chat" between Bitcoin Foundation board member and longtime digital currency entrepreneur Brock Pierce, and Gem CEO/founder Micah Winkelspecht. Their conversation is followed by an audience Q&A (apologies for the sound quality of the audience questions).

This was a Los Angeles Bitcoin Meetup event held at the beautiful new Gem headquarters in Venice Beach, California, on November 13, 2014. Andreas Antonopoulos had been scheduled to speak that evening, but his flight from the East Coast was canceled, and as hard as he tried (including piloting a Cessna to a nearby airport), he was unable to make it. Fortunately, both Brock and Micah are amazing and knowledgeable Bitcoin speakers, so I believe everyone who attended felt extremely satisfied. There were too many topics covered to list, but below are relevant links from the discussion.

Listen for the magic word, and submit it to your LetsTalkBitcoin.com account to claim your share of the weekly distribution of LTBcoin. The magic word must be submitted by 5am (Pacific Time / GMT-8:00) on November 27.
