On today’s show Lij and I bring you part two of our conversation with Billy and Sheryl Carr – a truly brilliant couple who are on the verge of changing the world with their creation of Quid Point of Sale “Smart Vender”. Quid is a multilingual, multicurrency Android app enabling quid pro quo transactions that focus on the emerging markets world wide . . . and specifically in Latin America & Asia.
We also talk with Nick Galan Co-Founder and CEO of Bitmarket.ph, a bitcoin payment processor that is helping to shape the future of commerce in the Philippines. Nick shares with us his upcoming projects as well and opens our eyes to a whole new world of innovation and culture. Along the way we learn that Manila is the selfi capital of the world. Yes it’s true folks, your selfies may actually be worth something . . . in bitcoin!
