The Bitcoin Biographies: Rob Mitchell of the Bitcoin Game

    November 13th, 2015 by cherapple
When [Rob Mitchell](https://letstalkbitcoin.com/profile/user/rob) mentioned that he had recorded an introduction about himself for his podcast *[The Bitcoin Game](https://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/category/the-bitcoin-game)* several times, but he hadn’t yet created one he wanted to use, I jumped at the chance to interview him. Mitchell started his podcast a little more than a year ago. He has since published 29 biweekly episodes, including memorable ones such as interviews with Johoe, the white hat hacker, Jake Benson of LibraTax  —  which I remember because I didn’t want to listen, but when I did, it was very helpful  —  and two of his latest with [John Barrett](https://letstalkbitcoin.com/profile/user/johnbarrett) of [Bitcoins and Gravy](https://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/category/bitcoins-and-gravy-ltb-network-shows), and writer [Brian Cohen](https://letstalkbitcoin.com/profile/user/bcohen). He also created the Bitcoin keychains that appear in images all over the Internet. I asked him to tell me more about everything he's been doing "in Bitcoinland." Read More

    August 27th, 2015 by Rob
Hello, welcome to episode 24 of *The Bitcoin Game*, I'm Rob Mitchell. Earlier this month I got to speak with Andrew Lee from Purse, a company that allows people to use Bitcoin to buy stuff on Amazon, and at pretty large discounts. My own first thought about Purse was that it was some strange company trying to shoehorn its way between Bitcoiners and Amazon. But after talking to Andrew, I now see Purse as a company that is helping to spread the use and adoption of Bitcoin throughout the world. ... Read More

ChangeCup NYC Brings Coffee and Care to Homeless: Interview with dmnyc, Part 1

    March 13th, 2015 by cherapple

After countless people walked over the body of a homeless man on the Upper West Side of New York City before someone called an ambulance, Daniel Modell (dmnyc on the forums) decided he didn’t want to be “the one who walked by.” He wrote on the blog that he created:  "If just one person had decided not to walk past this man, and instead, stop to talk to him, ask if he needed some help, just show him that someone cared, he might not have died that day in such a sad way." ...

A Chinese Lawyer's Thoughts on Crypto

    February 28th, 2015 by totteplott
China has recently [surpassed the US](http://www.marketwatch.com/story/its-official-america-is-now-no-2-2014-12-04) as the world's biggest economy, and although China has had problems with its shadow banking system, corruption and more, it has shown to be surprisingly open about cryptocurrencies. This may seem surprising coming from a country that is communist, at least on paper. In order to get better understanding of how the Chinese are reasoning about this topic, here is an interview with [Roland Sun](https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=381543277) (孙铭), a leading cryptocurrency lawyer in China. Bitcoin in Middle Earth: A Trip to Queenstown, NZ

    February 8th, 2015 by TatianaMoroz
In November, I went all over the world—Vegas to Melbourne, then Sydney to Queenstown. I haven't posted everything from this trip yet, because frankly, there is so much content to go through, it's a bit overwhelming. But I did do some fun interviews that were easy enough to edit, so I wanted to share them here. One of the first friends I made in Bitcoin was Andreas Antonopoulos, when he heard me sing the Bitcoin Jingle for the first time I ever sang it in Buenos Aires. Read More
